At Creekside, we believe every student deserves a positive and supportive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. That's why we're proud to implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), a school-wide framework designed to foster a safe, respectful, and engaging atmosphere for all.

What is PBIS All About?

You might be wondering, "What exactly is PBIS?" In brief, PBIS is a proactive approach to fostering a positive school culture. Instead of just reacting to challenging behaviors, we focus on teaching and reinforcing expected behaviors in all areas of the school. Think of it like this: just as we teach reading and math, we also explicitly teach students how to be respectful, responsible, and safe.

Celebrating Success with PBIS Events and Our PBIS Store!

We love to celebrate our students' positive choices and hard work! Throughout the year, we host monthly PBIS events that recognize and reward students for demonstrating our school-wide expectations. These events are a fun way to build community and reinforce positive behaviors.

In addition, students have the exciting opportunity to earn [mention what they earn, e.g., "school-wide tickets," "praise slips"] for following our PBIS expectations. They can then use these to "purchase" items at our very own PBIS Store! This incentive program helps reinforce positive behavior in a tangible and engaging way.
